sarmal.com can be viewed on almost any modern browser. If we find that a browser does not support certain technologies, we degrade gracefully by just disabling or limiting that functionality.
Therefore sarmal remains usable at all times. The only thing that changes is it's look and feel and the existence of some advanced functionality given to supporting browsers.
By "supporting browsers" we currently mean fourth generation and above browsers which support Document Object Model version 1 fully and Cascaded Style Sheets version 2 partially without much trouble.
Our aim is to keep the site forward compatible. That is, make it usable not only in today's browsers but also future browsers. We are following web standards and accessibility standards to the maximum extent possible to meet our goal.
Upgrading your browser is easy and totally free.
Even if you do not have any problems, trying something new is fun.
For instance if you use internet explorer for your web experience, you may want to try other browsers which support different functionalities.
You may like the shiny interface, page-zoom functionality and other bits and pieces that come with Opera or the simple -yet powerful- monster Mozilla whose popularity is increasing recently. Did you know that you can install extensions to Mozilla in order to enhance its functionality even further?
If you do not try several browsers how can you know which one suits best to your needs?
By upgrading your browser not only will you gain a better browsing experience, but you will also get rid of the bugs and security leaks of your current browser.
Listed below are several choices to select from. Click on an icon and you will be redirect to that browser's download page. Personally, I like the first four in the list. Though I'm not sure about the fifth one.
Note that the given list is by no means a complete one. You can find many more around.
